A quick My Keyser Update – Sunday, September 6, 2020, 7:34 am.

September 6, 2020 - Reading time: 39 minutes

Through much support of my peers, My Keyser has continued to gain support throughout the community regarding the recycling initiative. It is important we recycle – and – it is especially important we do it efficiently.

We are going to start focusing on which haulers will be able to contribute to the weekly-to-biweekly routes throughout Keyser and possibly portions or Mineral County itself. This means My Keyser will soon start calling on volunteers interested in contributing time and effort into retrieving recyclables from residents.

Stay tuned for a full write-up of the programs My Keyser is working to launch.

We've noted over 200 interested parties, so please continue to show your interest alongside submitting your official request via the recycling form here, https://mykeyser.com/recycle

Thank you for reading! I hope you have a good day.

Keyser Question and Answer was the first event by the My Keyser initiative in progressive discussions. I'm looking to hold weekly online meetings (online mostly due to COVID and ease of access) to organize and action.

Projects include:

  • Street cleanup
  • Helping the elderly
  • Convey complaints from citizens to city and county
  • Recognizing necessary change (modernizing Keyser)
  • E-Vote (electronically voting)

Next meeting time to be determined.

Agenda (may expand or change)

 Meetings will be held online.
